Prosecutors who gave slap on the wrist to the sex fiend accused of raping and murdering pretty teen Chelsea King have blood on their hands.

Anti-crime crusader Mrac Klaas levels that damning charge after learning John Albert Gardener III received for committing lewd acts on a 13 year old girl he beat after luring her to hi home in 2000 with an offer to watch the 1988 Robin Williams movie patch Adams.

Psychiatrist Dr. Matthew Carroll advised the court to impose the maximum 30 years sentence, noting Gardner was " Callous" and lacked remorse. But prosecutors asked a judge to give him just six years so they could avoid going to trial.

The 6'2 230 pound brute ended up serving five years. He did three years probation that ended in September 2008. He was then free to roam. The sens fiend then killed Chelsea and possibly other young women experts charge.

This has been huge miscarriage of justice. Klaas, whose daughter Polly 12, was murdered in 1993, Tells globe. The authorities put a sick monster back on the streets. How many others has he done this to?

SHALLOW GRAVE

Official believe Gardner, 30 pounced upon 17 year old Chelsea as she was jogging in San Diego's Rancho Bernardo Community Park, Brutally raping her, killing her and coldly burying her in a shallow grave near Lake Hodges. After his DNA was found on her underwear left in the park, cops busted him outside a restaurant bar in nearby Escondido Calif.

Five days after the bubbly teen with a quirky sense of humor vanished, searchers found her body. Now says, Klaas, cops should investigate Gardner for many other local unsolved crimes, including the baffling February 2009 disappearance of 14 year old Amber Dubois from Esconido.

Amber vanished without a trace. Klaas tells. She's exactly the kind of girl he would prey on, and she lived in the same area where he was captured. In Chelsea's case, Gardner has pleaded not guilty to murder and assault with intent to commit rape charges that could bring the death penalty, he's already been linked to another assault.

After seeing his mug shot on TV after Chelsea murder, Candice Moncayo 23 of colorado springs, Colo. identified him as the attacker she fought off on Dec.27 while visitng the same park where Chelsea was slain.

Meanwhile, Dr.Caroll is saddened and angered that his psychiatric advice and recommendation to throw the book at Garnder was ignored in court. Prosecutors said in 2000 Gardner got a sweethearts deal because he had no significant prior record and to spare his young victim from testifying. However Klaas insist creeps like him, can never be rehabilitated. Klaas tells, the only way to deal with him after he's convicted is to execute him. And those who ignored that psychiatrist and allowed this tragedy to happened should know they have blood on their hands.
